Magistrates handed out a suspended prison sentence to a man found guilty of dumping 192 tyres.
Colin Miller, 42, was caught on CCTV illegally dumping the tyres, according to a report in the Maidenhead Advertiser.
Miller, who dumped the tyres at a site between Bourne End and Littleworth Commonm was sentenced to six months in prison, suspended for two years, at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court.
He had pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing for tipping on four occasions in July this year.
The court also ordered him to 120 hours community service and to pay £1,000 costs.
The prosecution was brought by Buckinghamshire County Council working on behalf of the Waste Partnership for Buckinghamshire.
Cllr Martin Tett, vice-chairman of the Joint Waste Partnership for Buckinghamshire, said: “There is no excuse for this disgraceful behaviour.
“Last year we convicted more people for fly-tipping than our neighbouring authorities, which shows our commitment to stamping out this offence in Buckinghamshire.”
