Reading: First Nissan GT-Rs Roll Out of UK Showrooms on Dunlop Tyres

They’d waited a year, but today the moment finally arrived when the proud owners of the UK-spec Nissan GT-R were handed the keys to their dream car.

Nissan’s new eagerly-awaited supercar was rolled out on Dunlop SP Sport 600 DSST tyres at 7.29am this morning – the exact time the GT-R, fitted with the Dunlop tyres, managed to lap the Nurburgring in.

The car, which in upgraded European specification includes the Dunlop SP Sport 600 DSST tyres, apparently offers unrivalled performance and technology in its segment.

And at the heart of the supercar throbs a hand-built 360kW 588Nm, 3.8 litre V6 twin turbo engine with paddle-shift six speed dual-clutch transmission and advanced all-wheel drive.

Few vehicles have picked up so many accolades ahead of their launch date as the Nissan GT-R and so it’s no surprise that around 1,250 enthusiasts had put their deposit down a year ago!

Anyone who places an order now will have to wait 12 months to get their keys…
