Picture the scene: customer’s on his way home from a night shift when he gets a puncture. He pulls into a layby, walks home, surfs the net for the best deal on tyres and places the order with us for an urgent replacement. Our tyres fitter is fully booked, but understands it’s an emergency, re-arranges his jobs, goes out of his way to pick the customer up from home, drives him to his abandoned car 4 miles away and changes the tyre so he can drive to work that night!
The next morning the delighted customer phones the National Call Centre to ask if he could pay an extra £8.00 for the outstanding service he received. He also asked if he could have some leaflets so he could hand them out to his work colleagues, because he wanted to recommend the Walsall branch.
