Continental tyres are giving away TomToms and iTunes vouchers as it launches its new social micro site dedicated to road safety awareness campaigns, competitions and news from the motoring industry.
The launch of www.Conti-Central.co.uk has been timed to coincide with the the tyres manufacturers winter driving safety awareness campaign.
The site will also provide useful travel information such as weather warnings provided by The Met Office and traffic updates provided by The Highways Agency.
To tie in with the current winter driving safety campaign, the Conti-Central site has launched with a winter theme and is set to highlight the importance of road safety as temperatures drop, and the benefit that winter tyres can give in the colder months.
Laura Hardy, communications manager at Continental Tyres, said: “We’re really excited to be launching the Conti-Central site with a big push for our winter driving safety message, which is vital in the approaching colder months.
“We’ll be using the site to feature regular news, updates and competitions as well as some pertinent information, statistics and tips relating to winter driving, and the effect these have on road safety over all.”
The Conti-Central site launches with two competitions. The first, with the theme of ‘Great Winter Tracks’, is supporting music charity Nordoff Robbins and will give 50 people the chance to win a £50 iTunes voucher each week, simply by entering their email addresses.
