Bridgestone set to showcase latest innovations and new brand image at Paris Motor Show

Bridgestone will be pulling out all the stops to showcase its latest technological innovations at the Mondial de l’Automobile 2014 motor show in Paris next month.

Visitors will also be able to discover the world’s largest tyre manufacturers new look and direction via a range of other dynamic and interactive attractions.

The Japanese tyre giant will take the opportunity to demonstrate the future of tyre technology and the Paris Motor Show will be the perfect occasion to unveil its all-new range of premium tyres, as well as a few state-of-the-art projects in production.

The revolutionary Ecopia EP500 is the first tyre applying Bridgestone’s ologic technology, which is an Original Equipment fitment on the all-electric BMW i3. As an extra bit of fun, visitors will get a chance to sit behind the wheel of the BMW i3 and have their photo taken against their own choice of backdrop. They will be encouraged to share their photo via Facebook and the snap that that earns the most “likes” before the end of the Motor Show will win a travel voucher.

Visitors will also get a glimpse of the future with the chance to see Bridgestone’s new AirFree concept tyre, which will also be on display, fitted to the 100% electric Toyota Coms.

Other tyres in the spotlight at the 2014 Paris Motor Show: Blizzak LM001, Blizzak LM80 EVO, Potenza S001, Turanza T001, Dueler H/P Sport, Adrenalin RE002.

Tyre enthusiasts will also get the chance to view Bridgestone tyres brand-new corporate video entitled “The Moment” and its latest campaign material, which the tyre company claims is: “designed to rekindle the passion for the journey; the same passion that inspires Bridgestone to develop tyres that match the rapid pace of innovation in the automotive industry”.
