Apollo tyres has teamed up with Manchester United for a slick new TV commercial which features top players from the Premiership club in a bid to promote its car tyres
The campaign, titled ‘Performance. There are no shortcuts’ draws a parallel between football training and the tests a car has to pass before a race. It features Robin Van Persie, David de Gea, Chris Smalling and Jonny Evans in training and compares them to test cars fitted with Apollo car tyres going through their paces.

The Apollo tyres and Man United advert makes comparisons between a car taking on a slalom course and players practising; a football swinging towards goal post and car doing the same in a designated course area; precision and stopping at the right place in terms of taking a penalty and speed and acceleration needed to score or move forward.
