Goodyear tyres are running a great competition that will bag the winner the chance to take part in the Brighton to London Future Car Challenge (BLFCC).
The prize package also includes £1,000 and a set of four EfficientGrip tyres – so better get your skates on if you want to be in with a chance of winning.
In keeping with the BLFCC, which aims to help promote cleaner motoring technology, Goodyear are looking to find the UK’s thriftiest person, who will get to drive its rally vehicle in the race.
The search has been commissioned to demonstrate how Goodyear’s EfficientGrip tyre saves you money by providing excellent mileage and reduced fuel consumption thanks to it’s outstanding rolling resistance.
James Bailey, Goodyear’s corporate communications manager, is inviting competition hopefuls to get in touch to ‘show us how careful they are with money’.
He added: “Whether you make use of leftovers or buy gifts in the sale, we want to hear of how you cut costs at home and on the road.
“By entering the BLFCC we hope to show motorists the necessary skills they need to drive in an energy conscious manner. One way to do this is to equip your vehicle with EfficientGrip tyres that will deliver excellent mileage and reduced fuel consumption.”
The competition closes on Friday 8th October. So go to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PRFNQZR. A shortlist of five individuals will then be made based on their responses to 10 questions and invited to a test track to showcase their smart driving techniques.
One overall winner will be chosen and announced the UK’s thriftiest person.
