Bridgestone tyres scored a smash hit with their two commercials aired during 2011 Super Bowl XLV last night.
The tyres manufacturer was keen to drive home the message that “For drivers who want to get the most out of their cars – it’s Bridgestone or nothing.”
The ‘Carma’ commercial featured a ‘saluting beaver’ who’s life had been saved by Bridgestone tyres fitted to a car, returning the favour and preventing the driver speeding into a raging river http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBUcG7xZB-g&NR=1.
The second advert, entitled ‘Reply All’, focused on that heart-topping moment when someone thinks they have sent a personal email as an all-rounder by mistake http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9xGw-SWej8&NR=1.
The Japanese tyres manufacturer also sponsored the Halftime Show featuring the Black Eyed Peas.
It is the fourth year that Bridgestone has invested heavily to have an advertising presence at the Super Bowl, both with commercials and as a sponsor of the Halftime Show.
The Super Bowl is widely recognised as being one of the biggest advertising vehicles in the world and Bridgestone is committed to being part of it because its core customers, men ages 25 to 54, are the biggest group of Super Bowl viewers.
