Bridgestone run-flat tyres score maximum points in independent tests

Comprehensive testing of a range of run-flat tyres
sponsored by Auto Express magazine has found that
Bridgestone run-flat tyres are the best available.
The testing, that involved tyres from all the leading
manufacturers, showed that Bridgestone run–flat tyres
performed better in wet conditions and equally as well
in terms of rolling resistance and dry handling.
Bridgestone started developing their range of run-flat
tyres in 1986 and have been leading the field ever
since. The top selling ER300 RFT is now fitted as
original equipment on Audi, BMW and VW as well as
Ferrari Maserati and Porsche.
The fitting of run-flat tyres is not something that
should be entrusted to ill-equipped tyre depots or
garages. Specialist equipment and training is essential
because run-flat tyres are much more difficult to work
with that traditional tyres. etyres is officially
