etyres Fleet Mobile Tyres Franchise Opportunity in Wales
"etyres" is the UK's # 1 On-Line Tyre Company,
offering on-your-driveway fitting nationwide. etyres is
the Internet trading name of Fleet Mobile Tyres, Ltd.
We have a franchise opportunity in Wales. If you have
plenty of drive and initiative you can join our steadily
expanding team of successful Franchisees.
We offer the lowest prices on all leading brands of
tyres and batteries and the most convenient service. We
fit tyres and batteries at the customer's home or place
of work. And because our service is fully mobile, we
don't have expensive tyre depots, which means our prices
are always low.
The primary reason that our service is second to none is
that our network is made up of Franchise Partners rather
than tyre depot managers. Could you be our next
successful Partner with this franchise opportunity in
Wales?
Fast-expanding etyres now has over 100 vans fitted with
the most up-to-date equipment required to fit tyres to
today's vehicles. The work is guaranteed and carried out
by our Franchise Partners who employ fully trained tyre
fitters. Customers can have full confidence in our
professional and efficient service because our Franchise
Partners always provide a superior service than is
available elsewhere, as you may do in Wales.
New branches are often started as a sole trader business
with the Franchise Partner fitting tyres himself. As the
level of sales grows a trained tyre fitter is employed.
Later a second and third fitter are employed.
Alternatively the business can be operated purely as a
Management Franchise, with all the operational activity
delegated to employees. Either way, branches can be
built up to be very lucrative, with strong sales and
cashflow, as would this franchise opportunity in Wales.
And etyres is on a fast track towards nationwide
coverage. We can already cover to more than 70% of the
UK car owning population. However we still have
franchise Territories available in key areas, including
Wales. Full training is provided in all aspects of the
business. Head Office backup includes National Sales,
Etyres Sales, National Account authorisations, invoicing
and cash collection as well as help with local sales and
marketing, credit control and administration. For a

More about Wales
Wales covers an area of about 8,000 sq miles (20,000
sq kilometres). It is roughly 140 miles (225 kilometres)
from south to north and varies between 50 and 130 miles
(80 – 210 kilometres) from west to east. It has a
population of 2.9 million, two thirds of whom live in
the valleys and coastal plan of the south, where the
chief urban centres are Cardiff (the capital), Newport
and Swansea. There is also a significant concentration
of population in the north east, with Wrexham as its
principal town. The remainder of the country is
predominantly rural in character.
Wales is currently divided into 40 constituencies which
each return one member to Parliament. For several
decades, the Labour Party has consistently held well
over half of the Parliamentary seats in Wales. Following
the General Election of May 2005, Labour hold 29 seats,
the Liberal Democrats hold 4, Plaid Cymru and the
Conservative Party have three each, and there is one
Independent.
Prior to 1999, the Secretary of State had a wide range
of executive responsibilities for implementing
government policy in Wales. In 1999, most of these
functions were transferred to a devolved administration,
the National Assembly for Wales, which now has
responsibility across a wide range of domestic policy
areas.
Wales has been allocated almost ?1.5 billion of funding
from the European Union (EU) for the period 2000–2006.
With matched funding from a range of public, private and
voluntary sources, the Structural Funds Programmes are
worth more than ?3.2 billion. Principal among these is
the ?1.3 billion Objective 1 programme covering West
Wales, the south Wales valleys and parts of north west
Wales. This funding is designed to promote growth in
regions where gross domestic product is less than 75 per
cent of the EU average.
In 2003, exports from Wales totalled ?7.2 billion and
imports ?5.5 billion. The largest overseas trading
partner was the EU. The three largest sectors were
machinery and transport, chemicals, and manufactured
goods.
