We have a franchise opportunity in Scunthorpe. If you have plenty of drive and initiative you can join our steadily expanding team of successful Franchisees.

We offer the lowest prices on all leading brands of tyres and batteries and the most convenient service. We fit tyres and batteries at the customer's home or place of work. And because our service is fully mobile, we don't have expensive tyre depots, which means our prices are always low.

The primary reason that our service is second to none is that our network is made up of Franchise Partners rather than tyre depot managers. Could you be our next successful Partner with this franchise opportunity in Scunthorpe?

Fast-expanding etyres now has over 100 vans fitted with the most up-to-date equipment required to fit tyres to today's vehicles. The work is guaranteed and carried out by our Franchise Partners who employ fully trained tyre fitters. Customers can have full confidence in our professional and efficient service because our Franchise Partners always provide a superior service than is available elsewhere, as you may do in Scunthorpe.

New branches are often started as a sole trader business with the Franchise Partner fitting tyres himself. As the level of sales grows a trained tyre fitter is employed. Later a second and third fitter are employed. Alternatively the business can be operated purely as a Management Franchise, with all the operational activity delegated to employees. Either way, branches can be built up to be very lucrative, with strong sales and cashflow, as would this franchise opportunity in Scunthorpe.

And etyres is on a fast track towards nationwide coverage. We can already cover to more than 70% of the UK car owning population. However we still have franchise Territories available in key areas, including Scunthorpe. Full training is provided in all aspects of the business. Head Office backup includes National Sales, Etyres Sales, National Account authorisations, invoicing and cash collection as well as help with local sales and marketing, credit control and administration. More about Scunthorpe

Scunthorpe has a fascinating history, starting life as a sleepy agricultural area until the discovery of the Frodingham Ore fields in 1851. This led to an influx of jobs, the coming of the railway and the building of new accommodation for the workforce. It also saw a dramatic increase in the population of Scunthorpe and its surrounding areas from 1,245 in the 1850s to around 27,000 by 1919.

In 1936 the present town emerged as the five villages of Ashby, Brumby, Frodingham, Scunthorpe and Crosby combined together.

Since the discovery of the local Frodingham Ironstone, Scunthorpe has grown into one of Europe’s major steel producing centres.

As the steel industry grew so did the population of Scunthorpe, by the 1970s, the population had risen to 60,000 people with 20,000 people employed in the steel industry alone.

Vast areas of open space and parkland were retained for the local population to enjoy, like Central Park, a short walk away from the town centre.

Today the story of the great Victorian Ironmasters is told through the Heritage Trail, extensive displays at North Lincolnshire Museum and the free Steam Railtours which run around the Corus Plant.

Over the last 3 years Scunthorpe has had over ?60 million invested in its town centre. It can now boast a 7 screen Vue cinema, 20-21 Visual Arts Centre, set in the attractive Church Square and two shopping centres, The Foundry and The Parishes.

Scunthorpe’s newest shopping area, The Parishes, provides a modern shopping experience created around pedestrian walkways with names such as H&M, Etam, Tammy, Deichmann Shoes, Woolworths, Littlewoods, Index, Clarks, TJ Hughes and HMV.

The Foundry Shopping Centre is conveniently located in the heart of Scunthorpe. It offers both modern and traditional retailers, providing over 50 shops offering a wide variety and choice in a customer friendly environment.

Scunthorpe Market has a friendly welcoming atmosphere, where you can get to know your butcher, grocer or fishmonger and make the most of their expertise. In the adjacent hall you will be spoilt for choice with everything you need from flowers and plants to stationery and buttons. Lighting, clothing, books and handbags, the list is endless.
