We offer the lowest prices on all leading brands of

fit tyres and batteries at the customer's home or place
of work. And because our service is fully mobile, we
don't have expensive tyre depots, which means our prices
are always low.

that our network is made up of Franchise Partners rather
than tyre depot managers. Could you be our next
successful Partner with this franchise opportunity in
Maidstone?
Fast-expanding etyres now has over 100 vans fitted with

Partners always provide a superior service than is
available elsewhere, as you may do in Maidstone.
New branches are often started as a sole trader business
with the Franchise Partner fitting tyres himself. As the
level of sales grows a trained tyre fitter is employed.
Later a second and third fitter are employed.
Alternatively the business can be operated purely as a
Management Franchise, with all the operational activity
delegated to employees. Either way, branches can be
built up to be very lucrative, with strong sales and
cashflow, as would this franchise opportunity in Maidstone.
And etyres is on a fast track towards nationwide

More about Maidstone
Maidstone is at the heart of the Garden of England
surrounded by beautiful countryside with orchards,
vineyards and rolling downlands. The River Medway runs
through the town centre where there is one of the south
east's finest museums, the country's best collection of
carriages and the medieval Archbishops' Palace.
County cricket is played near to the centre of town in
Mote Park which is also home to the modern Maidstone
Leisure Centre.
The Borough of Maidstone has many other tourist
attractions such as Leeds Castle, 'The most beautiful
castle in the world' & the award winning Museum of Kent
Life.
The County Town occupies a strategic position on the
main road route between London and continental Europe.
It is 30 miles from the City of London and 30 miles from
the English Channel and Channel Tunnel. Four Maidstone
junctions provide direct access to the M20 motorway and
the M2 motorway is just minutes away by dual
carriageway. With three town centre and a number of
rural stations, Maidstone also enjoys excellent railway
links with London and the rest of the country. It is
central to a market of 1.1 million people within 30
minutes drive time.
Maidstone and Kent enjoys a more continental climate
than the rest of England, with relatively mild winters
and sometimes hot summers which can be on a par with the
Mediterranean. Rainfall is well below the England
Average and sun totals are well above the England
average. With a climate similar to that of Paris, Kent
is able to grow a diverse range of crops including
grapes, apples, walnuts, hops and even olives and
peaches. Do bear in mind that it is sometimes worth
taking a brolly with you in all seasons.
It is not surprising Maidstone is at the commercial
heart of the county and is the business capital of Kent.
Maidstone is the largest office centre in the county and
a major centre for business, financial, consultancy and
professional services. The area is also a primary base
for the paper and packaging industry and a location for
high technology employment on surrounding business
parks.
The town is ranked in the top five shopping centres in
the south east of England for shopping yields and has
more than one million square feet of retail floorspace.
Fremlin Walk, which opens in March 2005, will see
Maidstone regain the title of largest shopping centre in
Kent. The riverside Lockmeadow Centre includes an Odeon
Multiplex, restaurants, nightclub and market square.
Maidstone is going through a period of change. Not a
place to stand-still, it is a desirable location. There
are major commercial, residential and retail
developments taking place.
In the 15th Century Maidstone was governed by a
Portreeve, 12 Brethren and 24 Commoners who together
formed the governing body under the Archbishop of
Canterbury. The first Mayor of Maidstone not directly
responsible to the Archbishop was appointed in 1549 when
Maidstone renewed its Charter of Incorporation. This
charter was forfeited in 1554 because of the town's
support of Wyatt's Rebellion, but in 1559 Queen
Elizabeth I granted the town a new charter and Maidstone
was created a Borough. Maidstone in common with other
corporations, was obliged by James I in 1619 to obtain
confirmation of its charter - at great expense. There
was an official heraldic visit to inspect the
Corporation's seals and to produce a Blazon of Arms.
On 31 March 1987 the Borough of Maidstone was authorised
by Royal Licence, signed by Queen Elizabeth II, to use
the Amorial Bearings of the old Borough, but without the
parchment scrolls bearing the dates 1549 and 1949
suspended from the collars of supporters. The Coat of
Arms is reserved for use by the Mayor of Maidstone on
civic occasions. The Borough Council's logo appears on
Council vehicles, buildings, correspondence and
publications.
