Environmental and sustainable fleet award commendation to etyres
etyres receives a Commendation for its established green
policy at 2005 EAST Awards ceremony.
At the EAST Awards ceremony in London on 7 April 2006,
etyres was awarded a Commendation for Environmental and
Sustainable Fleet for its adherence to a viable green
policy. The 2005 Environmental and Sustainable
Technology (EAST) Awards recognised industry providers
of products and services that make a positive green
contribution and reduce the environmental impact of
their businesses.
etyres maintains this environmental focus whilst
emphasising customer satisfaction. The company provides
a mobile service and eliminates the high overheads of
traditional tyre depots so prices are up to 40% less.
The green bonus is that the individual journeys by
customers to the tyre depots are also avoided. An etyres
fitting van, on an efficient daily run, reduces vehicle
use by over 50%. So etyres is much more convenient, 50%
greener and up to 40% cheaper.
